Fright Night at Newquay Zoo, 30th October

We’ve got a classic case of who dunnit on our hands… Newquay Zoo have teamed up with Newquay Tretherras school to put on a head scratching evening full of lies, revelations and hopefully some truths. Can you figure out what happened or more importantly who dunnit? In our murder mystery extravaganza! You’ll be taken on a spooky guided tour into the depths of the zoo to meet and greet some of the suspicious characters linked to the victim. Booking is essential.

Halloweden at the Eden Project, 20th October – 4th November

The Eden Project is at again with another spooktacular line-up of spine-tingling Halloween events. This year you’re invited into a beautiful and mysterious world of mythical beasts! Explore the Beastly Bazaar, enter the Dangerous Animal Zone and discover secret trails and lairs! Most activities are included in the price of your admission ticket.

Pirate’s Quest, Trick or Treasure? Newquay,20th-29th October

The bravest buccaneers must head to Pirate’s Quest in Newquay this October Half Term for some fiendish family-friendly fun. The piratical walk-through experience will be packed with plenty of tricks and a few treats – but there’s no need to fear, the LIVE Pirate guides are guaranteed to keep visitors on the safe path throughout the journey.

Spooky trails and a fireworks spectacular at Flambards, 24th – 26th October

Head to Helston and one of Cornwall’s most popular visitor attractions, Flambards, for some Halloween fun. From Slime Fests and vicious Victorians to a Halloween Tricks & Treats Firework Spectacular (Oct 24) there’s an awful lot of family fun on offer at Flambards Theme Park over the October Half Term holidays. Junior scientists are invited to join Flambards’ very own mad professor in their onstage laboratory for Slime Fest workshops (Sat-Mon and Fri 1pm-3pm). Grab lab coats and goggles and have a go at making your own slime creations. This is a great opportunity for hands on fun without any of the mess at home!

Creepy Camel Creek Halloween, 20th-28th October

Camel Creek Adventure Park near Wadebridge will be hosting an abundance of ghoulish activities throughout October Half Term as guests prepare to be tricked and treated. Bursting with ghoulish events and packed with treats; Halloween at Camel Creek is looking spooktacular for the whole family.

Children’s Halloween party at Bodmin Jail, 27th October

Head to Bodmin Jail for an afternoon of fun and frolics for all the family – fancy dress encouraged! Included in your Admission fee is a bat hunt, face painting, a guided tour of the jail the chance to meet the creepy crawlies, reptiles and owls and our cinema room will also be showing kids’ films. Toffee Apples and Apple Bobbing will be available on the day, and the Gift Shop will be open until 6pm.

Newquay Zombie Crawl, 27th October

Head over to Newquay for this freakishly fun Halloween event. Wearing gory get-ups and ghoulish glad-rags crawlers will parade through the town in a spook-tacular extravaganza. Now in its seventh year the event includes a spooky zombie procession, ghastly dancing, freakish face-painting and eerie entertainers. All children taking part in the Zombie Crawl must be accompanied by an adult.

Heligan Halloween, 20th October – 4th November

Wander through The Gardens, following a Creepy Crawly Trail and discover what weird and wonderful creatures have made their home there. Do you dare to enter the spider tunnel? Will you come face to face with Mama spider? And what else might you stumble across? Your little ones can also get up close and personal with bugs from all over the world!

Haunting Halloween Week at Cotehele Mill, near Saltash, 20th – 28th October

The mill complex will be decorated for Halloween; staff and volunteers will be in fancy dress; there will be a children’s trail with treats. We’ll be milling on the Thursday and Sundays, plus there might possibly be some scary baking going on!
