Trevella Park has scored an impressive treble with a place in the finals of the Cornwall Tourism awards, top marks from England’s national tourism agency and a gold award for conservation.
Trevella is in the top three for Cornwall Tourism’s Holiday Park of the Year award for the third year running and is hoping to improve on last year’s silver prize when the winner is announced in November.
The park has also been handed a 90% quality score from Visit England, ensuring Trevella Park retains its prestigious five-star rating with its biggest ever mark. The achievement confirms Trevella’s position as one of the highest quality holiday parks across the UK.
And Trevella struck gold again in the David Bellamy conservation awards for its commitment to wildlife and environmental best practice, a top mark that the park has retained for an incredible 18 consecutive years.
Independent assessors visited the park for each of the awards, scoring Trevella Park across a wide range of challenging criteria.
The run of awards follows significant investment that has seen Trevella Park upgrade its sports facilities, build new changing huts at the swimming pool, enhance its glamping tents with hot tubs and add ensuite facilities to touring pitches.
Rob Lomas, general manager at Trevella Park says, “After a hugely successful summer season we are delighted to have had such a superb run of awards success, and it’s especially pleasing that we have been able to maintain and improve our ratings from last year.
“Every award has a rigorous assessment process and it’s thanks to the hard work of our whole team that the park keeps moving forwards and continues to meet the highest guest expectations.
“We have everything crossed for the final of the Cornwall Tourism Awards in November, when we are hoping we can cap a tremendous trio of prizes for the year.”
