The David Bellamy Conservation Award Scheme

As well as being fishing lakes, Trevella and Springfield lakes are part of our nature reserve. For the last eight years we have been awarded the David Bellamy Gold award for conservation.

The following notes are comments taken from the inspectors report:

"After my first visit to Trevella Park I submitted a detailed report covering all aspects of the scheme and was very impressed with what I saw. On my second visit I find the various criteria not only maintained in standard but also in some cases improved. The whole site supports a wide range of wildflowers, especially in the area of the lakes."
