Five star Trevella Park
Trevella Park has been given numerous accolades to mark the quality of our site and service:
- we were voted one of the top 100 family holiday parks in Britain
- we have five stars signifying the quality of our site
- we’ve proudly held our David Bellamy conservation award for 15 years
We are very proud that Trevella was voted one of the Top 100 Family Parks by readers of Practical Caravan and has been listed by the AA as one of Britain’s Best Parks.
In recent years Trevella has been an AA Campsite of the Year finalist, regional runner up in the AA’s Trail magazine Beautiful Britain contest, voted Top Site of the Year by the Caravan magazine and featured by ITV’s Wish You Were Here. The Park has also won the Newquay in Bloom competition for many years and on six occasions was awarded the cup for Best Floral Display.
Commitment to Green Tourism
Our aim is to provide an environment that supports a sustainable community and which works in harmony with the local environment; our commitment to the environment has been ongoing for the past 45 years, from tree planting to the construction of two lakes and a nature reserve. Large areas around the park are left unkempt to encourage wild flowers, insects and birds. We also provide our guests with information to enable everyone to enjoy the open countryside and our local beaches. We encourage people to join in with our car free scheme, with bus times readily available from Reception. Trevella has gained The Green Tourism Business scheme Silver and has been a David Bellamy Conservation Gold Award for the past 15 years.
The David Bellamy awards are described by Professor Bellamy as the ‘Green Olympics’ for Britain’s holiday parks and are given to parks which have demonstrated a sound commitment to the natural world. Trevella Park has been described as a shining example of everything that the Scheme stands for!
